Description
General Surgery / Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift
- Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
- Weekend & Holiday Protocol: Every-third-weekend rotation (2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule block). Working rotation on assigned holidays as needed. No block scheduling.
- Pre-Approved Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 2 pre-approved RTO requests permitted per contract.
- Floating Protocol: Floating is required across clinical units as needed.
- Non-Billable Orientation: 20 orientation hours billed at $0/hr.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of recent clinical Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience required [HARDSTOP].
- First-Time Travelers: First-time travelers are accepted ONLY IF they possess at least 3 years of recent Inpatient RN Med-Surg experience within the last 5 years [HARDSTOP].
- Telemetry Competency Exam [HARDSTOP]: Candidates must pass a required facility Telemetry Exam prior to final start clearance [HARDSTOP].
- EMR Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Direct documentation experience in Epic EMR required (experience within the past 12 months strongly preferred) [HARDSTOP].
- State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Wisconsin State RN License or multi-state Compact RN License [HARDSTOP].
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
- Health & Immunization Clearance: Annual Flu Vaccine strictly required (medical/religious exemptions subject to facility approval). COVID-19 vaccine not required.
