Position Requirements

Specialty: Occupational Therapy
Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent experience in Occupational Therapy
License: Active Georgia OT license required
Certification: NBCOT certification required
BLS: AHA BLS required
First-Time Travelers: Not specified

Schedule

Regular Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: Varies based on department needs
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
Summer Holiday: 1 summer holiday required

Department & Clinical Setting

Department: Acute Care Occupational Therapy
EMR/Charting: Cerner
Patient Population: Acute care patients throughout the hospital
Responsibilities: OT services provided based on physician orders, supporting patients across a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including:
- ICU patients
- Stroke and neurological conditions
- Orthopedic patients
- General debility
- Various medical and surgical diagnoses
