Description
Cardiac Sonographer
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Location Requirement: Must live within 50 miles of the facility.
Job Description
Performs routine and advanced cardiac imaging studies for inpatient and outpatient patients and performs the clerical duties associated with these procedures. Procedures may be performed on neonatal through geriatric patients in the echocardiography lab, at the bedside, ICU, ED, and OR.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT required.
- Current State/District license required.
- RDCS/RCS required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required in both basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures.
- ARDMS cardiac echo certification required.
- Experience with Echocardiology US systems and all transducers, including transesophageal.
- Arterial and/or vascular ultrasound experience required.
