Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echocardiographer with 2+ years of cardiac imaging experience and ARDMS/RDCS certification for a 13-week assignment.

Details

  • Perform routine and advanced cardiac imaging studies on inpatients and outpatients across neonatal through geriatric populations
  • Procedures performed in the lab, bedside, ICU, ED, and OR settings
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts
  • 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
  • AART certification required
  • RDCS/RCS required
  • ARDMS cardiac echo certification required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • Current State/District license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures required
  • Experience with Echocardiology US system and all transducers, including transesophageal, required
  • Arterial and/or vascular ultrasound experience required
  • Must have at least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in this specialty area

Additional Information

  • Responsible for clerical duties associated with cardiac imaging procedures
  • Must live within 50 miles of the facility
  • Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying most recent experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
