Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echocardiographer with 2+ years of cardiac imaging experience and ARDMS/RDCS certification for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Perform routine and advanced cardiac imaging studies on inpatients and outpatients across neonatal through geriatric populations
- Procedures performed in the lab, bedside, ICU, ED, and OR settings
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- AART certification required
- RDCS/RCS required
- ARDMS cardiac echo certification required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Current State/District license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures required
- Experience with Echocardiology US system and all transducers, including transesophageal, required
- Arterial and/or vascular ultrasound experience required
- Must have at least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in this specialty area
Additional Information
- Responsible for clerical duties associated with cardiac imaging procedures
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying most recent experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
