Travel CT Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 9-week night assignment. This is a dual-modality position, and the traveler must demonstrate high proficiency in both CT and X-Ray.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of current CT Tech experience in a hospital setting — Required
• Minimum 2 years of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting — Required
• High proficiency in both CT and X-Ray
• Experience with all patient age groups — Required
• Highly experienced with:
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Digital Radiography
  • Portable X-Ray
  • OR C-Arm
• Previous travel experience — Preferred
• Traveler must have reliable transportation/own vehicle

Key Responsibilities

• Position patients on the examination table and utilize immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and adjust exposure factors appropriately.
• Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the OR, ER, and at the patient's bedside.
• Follow radiation safety and protection practices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Maintain excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Utilize basic computer skills and applicable imaging systems.

Licensure & Certifications

Required and must be active/documented:

• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
  • NH MIRT temporary license can be easily obtained with an equivalent state license for CT/X-Ray
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS
• ARRT — American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
