Special Education Teacher – EC General Curriculum

Client/District: Davidson County Schools
Shift & Schedule: Days, 5 × 7.5 -hour shifts
Weekly Hours: Full-Time: 37.5 hours/week
Contract Length: 43 weeks
 

Requirements

• MUST hold EC General Curriculum license — NOT Adapted.
• Active EC General Curriculum licensure prioritized.
• Standard district credentialing requirements.
• Candidates for Davis Townsend must be comfortable working in self-contained autism/maximum-support settings while teaching the General Curriculum.
• Silver Valley candidates must be available for the exact Monday–Thursday, 8:45 AM–1:45 PM schedule.

• EC Resource Teacher
• Part-Time — 20 hours/week
• Monday–Thursday, 8:45 AM–1:45 PM
• K–2 caseload

Special Notes

• Candidate presentations must include clear, detailed highlights in the body/notes.
• Presentation must specifically mention the candidate’s experience or preference for middle or high school grade levels.
• Correctly linked, blinded resume must be attached.
• Certificates/licenses should be attached when applicable.
• Presentations should be sent directly to BAM Austin Hayes.
• Required credentialing includes background check, driver's license/state ID verification, 9-panel drug screen, E-Verify, FERPA statement, license/educator certification verification, NSOPW, OFAC, OIG, SAM/EPLS, and resume.
• North Carolina Health & TB form is required prior to starting at NC schools.
