Travel - "Registered Nurse - CVOR / Operating Room"
Contract Details
- Orientation Dates: 09/21, 09/28, 10/05, 10/12
- Shift: 4X10s
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
Pay Breakdown
(Based on 40 hours)
- W2 (Taxable): $42.00/hr
- Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $ 1,414.00
- Gross Weekly Pay: $3,094.00/week
Requirements
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 24 months current/recent OR/CVOR experience
- CVOR experience required
- General OR circulating experience required
- Approximately 80% cardiac / 20% general experience
- Strong/proficient experience in cardiac, vascular & thoracic
- General Surgery circulating experience required
- Open-heart scrubbing experience required
- Must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Level I trauma experience highly preferred
- Certification Required: BLS — AHA or American Red Cross
- License Required: Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license at submission
- EMR Required: Epic experience within the previous 3 years
CVOR / OR Details
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Bed Size: 16 OR suites
- ORs: 16 total; typically 12–14 running
- Average Volume: 35–50 cases/day
- Turnover Expectation: Less than 20 minutes
- Robotics: 3 Da Vinci robots
- Special Technology: Stealth neuro-navigation
- Orthopedic Equipment: Primarily Synthes and Stryker for ortho trauma
