Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to perform both scrub and monitoring roles and have experience working with both cardiology and interventional radiology cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and monitoring duties during Cath Lab procedures.
• Perform and support Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
• Assist with both cardiology and IR cases.
• Follow appropriate radiation safety and patient-care practices.
• Provide support during procedures and ensure equipment and supplies are prepared.
• Participate in rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility policies.

Experience & Skills Required

• Previous EP (Electrophysiology) experience required.
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required.
• Experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
• Ability to perform both scrub and monitoring roles.
• Ability to work with both cardiology and IR procedures.
• IR Skills Checklist must be submitted with the candidate's profile.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 × 10-hour shifts
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call: Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call
• Approximately 40% of Cath Lab cases are Radiology/IR cases, including call coverage for this modality.
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Required Certification

• ARRT Certification
• AHA Certifications required
• RQI is NOT accepted
