Travel RN – Skilled Nursing/LTC

Seeking an experienced RN to provide comprehensive care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

Schedule:

• October: Night shifts
• November: Transitions to day shifts
• Must offer some flexibility to cover both days and nights

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete admission assessments and individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Monitor labs, imaging, diagnostics, and changes in resident condition
• Recognize and manage urgent or emergent situations
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Provide resident and family education
• Complete discharge and transfer documentation
• Delegate care and supervise, coach, and evaluate CNAs
• Maintain documentation consistent with CMS, Medicare skilled-care, and MDS requirements
• Advocate for residents while supporting their highest practical level of function

Ideal Candidate:

✅ Strong assessment, medication-administration, and IV skills
✅ Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
✅ Comfortable supervising CNAs and coordinating resident care
✅ Knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation
✅ Flexible and comfortable working both day and night shifts
