Travel ICU Float Pool RN

Join the inpatient Float Pool and provide critical-care nursing across ICU units based on facility needs.

Scheduling:

• Block weekend scheduling is available
• Floating throughout inpatient ICU areas is required

Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage critically ill patients with complex needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Prioritize care based on patient acuity and clinical changes
• Perform required bedside point-of-care testing
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Identify education needs and teach patients, families, and caregivers
• Anticipate discharge needs and promote continuity of care
• Communicate important clinical information during care transitions
• Follow hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure patient-care environment
