🩺 Responsibilities

As an Obstetrics RN, you will provide safe, compassionate, and coordinated nursing care to OB patients while collaborating closely with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and clinical needs
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Promote a safe, healing, and compassionate care environment
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate activities of nursing and healthcare team members
• Apply strong clinical judgment and independent nursing decision-making

👶 OB/L&D Clinical Requirements

This role requires strong hands-on OB experience. Candidates must be comfortable with:

• Taking over a recovery in Labor & Delivery
• Assisting with and catching a baby during a Cesarean section
• Caring for obstetric patients in an acute-care environment

✅ Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS – AHA or ARC accepted
• ACLS – AHA or ARC accepted
• NRP – AHA or ARC accepted
• EPIC experience – Required
• Acute-care experience preferred
• BSN preferred
