Compensation & Schedule Details

• Hours & Shift: Night shift (36 hours per week / 12-hour shifts, 1900–0700). Target start date: October 12, 2026.
• Distance & Local Rules: Candidates living within 50 miles of the primary facility are subject to a local rate ($5 less).
• Time Off & Scheduling: All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of profile submission (none accepted after submission, and no RTO during the first week of the assignment). Block scheduling is strictly prohibited.

Key Facility Policies & Floating Mandates

• Multi-Hospital Floating: Travelers must be willing to float based on needs across five designated Virtua hospitals: Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and Our Lady of Lourdes (OLOL).
• Holidays & Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW) required, plus 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday. No call requirements.
• Patient Ratios & Monitoring: Patient ratio is 1:6. Telemetry is monitored jointly by the RN and a monitor tech.
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required. Travelers must be clean-shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit.

Clinical Testing & Compliance Mandates

• Dysrhythmia Exam: Must pass a dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing / during orientation (only 2 attempts allowed; must be taken on a PC and NOT an iOS device to avoid incompatibility failure). Failure results in contract cancellation.
• Compliance & Licensure: Active New Jersey (NJ) RN license or multi-state compact license and Nursys verification (dated within 2 weeks of submission) must be in hand at submission—pending licenses are not accepted. BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of the assignment start date.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months (first-time travelers accepted, though not preferred).
• Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required at submittal.
