🚑 Position Overview

The Emergency Department RN provides safe, compassionate, and coordinated care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions. This role requires strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, prioritization, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and focused patient assessments
• Prioritize care based on patient acuity and clinical needs
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered environment
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate activities with other healthcare team members
• Utilize critical thinking and independent nursing judgment in emergent situations

💻 Technology Requirement

EPIC experience is REQUIRED.

Candidates should be comfortable using EPIC for clinical documentation, medication administration, care planning, and communication.

📋 Qualifications & Certifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – AHA or ARC accepted
• Previous Emergency Department / acute-care experience preferred
• BSN preferred
