Registered Nurse – Immunization & Vaccination
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15217
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Hours: 35 hours/week

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide immunization and vaccination services in a community healthcare setting. The RN will administer a variety of vaccines, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations, while delivering safe, professional, and patient-centered care.
PPE will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccinations safely and accurately according to established clinical protocols.
- Provide Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccinations as required.
- Perform patient screening and appropriate medication administration.
- Educate patients regarding vaccinations, potential reactions, and aftercare.
- Monitor patients following immunization and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient and vaccination documentation.
- Provide compassionate, professional interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Adapt effectively to changing patient needs and a dynamic community healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with team members to promote efficient and high-quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where services are provided.
- At least 1 year of related nursing experience, including immunization experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong clinical and medication administration skills.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to administer vaccines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong patient-care and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Flexibility with scheduled work hours.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Preferred Experience
- Immunization or vaccination clinic experience.
- Community healthcare, retail healthcare, outpatient, occupational health, or public health experience.
- Experience administering multiple vaccine types.
- Strong patient education and counseling skills.
Work Environment
This is an onsite, patient-facing position requiring direct interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced community healthcare environment and maintaining a high standard of patient safety and service.

Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Total: 35 hours per week
