Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday | 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Hours: 20 hours/week

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support an in-store/community vaccination program. The selected nurse will provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered immunization services, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations safely and accurately in accordance with established clinical protocols.
• Provide immunizations including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other applicable vaccines.
• Perform appropriate patient screening and medication administration.
• Educate patients regarding vaccines, expected reactions, and follow-up care.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Deliver professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and support staff.
• Adapt to changing patient needs and a dynamic community healthcare environment.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace.
• Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where services are provided.
• At least 1 year of related nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong clinical and medication administration skills.
• Ability and willingness to administer vaccinations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong patient-care and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility with scheduled work hours.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in vaccination clinics, retail healthcare, community health, occupational health, or outpatient settings.
• Experience administering multiple adult and pediatric immunizations.
• Strong patient education and counseling skills.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Work Environment

This is an onsite, patient-facing position in a community healthcare setting. Candidates should be comfortable interacting directly with patients and healthcare professionals and adapting to varying patient volumes and needs.
 

Schedule

Monday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Thursday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Saturday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Total: 20 hours per week
