Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg / Telemetry (Med Surg RN)

Location: Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center, Globe, Arizona (5880 S Hospital Dr)
Specialty: Med Surg / Healthcare - RN
Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: Day shift (0700–1900 / 12-hour shifts). Set schedules. Target start date: September 15, 2026.
- Low Census & Cancellation: Travelers can be canceled up to 3 times during the contract. During low census, travelers are given the option to take call in rotation with full-time staff.
Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope
- Patient Ratios: Med-Surg/Observation is 1:6; Step Down is 1:4.
- Equipment & EMR: EMR via Meditech, infusion pumps via Alaris, and medication dispensing via Omnicell.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Required experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry (Step Down experience preferred but not required).
- Licensure: Active Arizona (AZ) RN license or multi-state compact RN license in hand.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
