Travel CT Technologist – Weekend Days

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Facility: St. Francis Medical Center
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Schedule: Weekend Days | 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Local Radius Rule: Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
 

Position Overview
 

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 16-week travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The CT Tech will perform diagnostic CT procedures while ensuring image quality, patient safety, and accurate completion of multi-step imaging protocols.

This position requires strong CT knowledge and previous experience operating GE scanners.

Contract Options

• September 28 orientation – January 16, 2027 end date

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols
• Gather, organize, verify, and analyze patient and imaging data
• Complete multi-step CT procedures accurately and efficiently
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors
• Operate GE CT equipment
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy
• Document procedures accurately within the medical record
• Work effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of CT experience
• Two years of overall radiology experience preferred
• Previous GE scanner experience required
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
• Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
• Current BLS certification
• Detailed working knowledge of CT and radiology procedures
• Epic experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Call Requirements

• Approximately one call week during the assignment
• Call rotation occurs every sixth week
• Call coverage may include Monday through Friday
• Call shifts may be 8 or 15.5 hours

Interview Process

• Initial interview with the ITO team
• Second interview with the hiring manager
• No arrhythmia test required
