Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards.
Supervise and direct nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patient's health.
Develop and implement a plan of care, and evaluate progress towards outcomes.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate patient care.
Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients and families.
