Required Qualifications & Certifications

• New York State X-Ray Technologist License
• RCIS certification through CCI OR ARRT Registered
• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association
• Cardiovascular credentialing – CCI/ARRT/RCIS
• Certification to inject per New York State requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• 2+ years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Technologist or X-Ray Technologist
• At least 1 year of experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Operate and assist with cardiac imaging/X-ray equipment
• Maintain sterile technique and follow Cath Lab safety protocols
• Assist physicians and the clinical team during procedures
• Prepare and position patients for procedures
• Support contrast/injection procedures within scope and credentialing
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow department protocols
• Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other Cath Lab staff 

Call & Weekend Requirements

• Rotating on-call requirement
• Weekend coverage may be required through on-call rotation
• Holiday: On call only
• No nurse aides on the unit

• Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during a 13-week assignment without penalty.
