Description
Surgical Tech – Job Requirements
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
- Start/End Times: Negotiable during interview
- Call: Approximately every 5th weekend + 1–2 call shifts per week
- Call Response: Must be able to arrive onsite within 30 minutes
- Holiday Call: May be required depending on staffing and patient census
- RTO: Minimal RTO preferred
Required Experience
- Highly skilled and experienced Surgical Tech
- Broad, current experience with:
- Orthopedics
- Neuro
- Vascular
- Other varied surgical cases
- Strong critical-thinking skills
- Strong knowledge of central processing and surgical instrumentation
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- BLS required
- CST preferred, but not required
Important: Candidates with limited or narrow recent experience may not be considered. Actual weekly schedule and guaranteed hours will be determined during the phone interview.
