First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) on the historic island of Nantucket, Massachusetts! Operating at Nantucket Cottage Hospital (NCH)—a proud member of the world-renowned Mass General Brigham system serving an island community 30 miles at sea—this high-paying position features an approved 48-hour overnight schedule (4x12-Hours, 19:00 PM - 07:00 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 36-hour option also available). FREE SHARED HOUSING PROVIDED AT NO COST ON THE ISLAND! NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! Weekly Gross: $4,284.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $644.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $70.00/hr (40 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $105.00/hr (8 weekly OT hours included)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
Guaranteed Hours: 48 total hours weekly (40 regular hours + 8 overtime hours).
On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!
Facility & Department: Nantucket Cottage Hospital (NCH) / Ldrp(NCH125) (SO00006986).
Clinical Scope & Patient Care: Complete all-in-one maternal-child health coverage across Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP). Managing antepartum admissions, active labor triage and management, delivery support, post-anesthesia recovery, couplet care, newborn assessments, lactation support, and stabilization.
EMR System: Epic (solid experience is strictly required).

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of dedicated acute care Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum RN experience.
Licensure: Active Massachusetts RN License in hand at submittal.
Certifications Required:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Compliance & Onboarding Requirements:
- Mass General Brigham (MGB) onboarding attestation and skills checklist.
- Signed MGB Nantucket Housing Agreement.
- FEMA ICS 100 Training.
- Massachusetts CORI background clearance.
