Position Overview

Froedtert Hospital is seeking experienced Progressive Care RNs to work on a Trauma/Trauma Surgery Progressive Care Unit.

The RN will provide care to patients requiring progressive-level monitoring and nursing care following trauma and surgical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to trauma and trauma surgery patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Provide post-operative and progressive care
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Float to other appropriate units as needed

• BLS

• Core Mandatory Nursing Exam
