Description

Physical Therapist Contract Opportunity – Local or Travel

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist for a contract opportunity in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in the Mohawk Valley area of New York. Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide physical therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting
Help patients improve strength, mobility, function, and independence
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers throughout the rehabilitation process
Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

Qualifications

Current New York Physical Therapist license — MUST
Current BLS certification — MUST
Prior experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) — MUST
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Ability to work day shift
40 hours guaranteed
Overtime paid after 40 hours
