Schedule

• 3×12-hour Day Shifts
• 12-hour day shifts
• Float as needed
• Weekend requirement: Up to every other weekend

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring, care coordination, and recognizing changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition
• Manage IVs, drains, wound care, and other routine nursing needs
• Recognize and escalate changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Provide patient and family education
• Float to other appropriate units as needed

Requirements

• Recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and changing priorities
• Willingness to float as needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Certifications & Credentials

• BLS
• Active RN State License
• Med Surg Skills competency/checklist
• RN Medical Surgical competency
• RN Medical-Surgical A assessment
• RN Pharmacology A
• Core Mandatory Nursing Exam
• Core Mandatory Parts I, II & III
