Description
Certified Surgical Technologist – OR, Bozeman, MT
Position Details
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10–12 hour shifts, depending on facility needs
- Experience: 2+ years
- EMR: EPIC
- Holiday Coverage: Required
- License: Active Montana license required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military surgical technologist program
- Certified Surgical Technologist
- American Heart Association BLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience
Job Responsibilities
- Function as the scrub person under the supervision of the surgeon and RN
- Ensure the OR environment is safe and equipment is functioning properly
- Prepare case carts according to preference cards
- Procure instruments and supplies for scheduled and non-scheduled procedures
- Coordinate instrumentation with sterile processing staff
- Review daily schedules with the charge nurse and sterile processing coordinator
- Assist with coordinating department communication, breaks, and lunches
- Support Surgical Services and SPD with necessary supplies and instrumentation
- Coordinate with Materials Management regarding supply utilization and deployment

Important: Traveler must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible. The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
