Description
CT Technologist – Boston, MA
Schedule: 24 hours per week or 36 hours per week | Regular, full-time position
Location: Onsite in Boston
Pay: $42.42–$67.88 per hour
We’re seeking a CT Technologist to perform scheduled and emergency imaging examinations. In this role, you’ll work closely with patients and families, select appropriate imaging techniques, and help deliver safe, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations and basic image analysis, including 3D imaging.
- Review imaging orders and relevant patient information before each exam.
- Verify patient identity using two identifiers and follow radiation safety practices, including ALARA.
- Explain procedures and radiation exposure to patients and families, answering their questions and adapting care to individual needs.
- Select appropriate equipment and technical factors to produce diagnostic images.
- Complete documentation accurately, follow quality control procedures, and report equipment issues.
- Support daily department operations and maintain current knowledge of imaging standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Allied Health required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT registration in radiography and CT, with certification maintained throughout employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
