Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – High-Risk Telemetry to care for patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions. The RN will provide telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, medication administration, and post-operative care in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to high-risk cardiac and telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition.
• Manage cardiac drips, including non-titrated infusions.
• Perform sheath removals and provide post-cardiac procedure care.
• Manage central lines and peripheral IVs.
• Care for post-open-heart surgery and new tracheostomy patients.
• Provide respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP and oxygen therapy.
• Manage chest tubes and post-cath-lab devices.
• Administer medications and perform procedural sedation monitoring as required.
• Document patient care in Epic.
• Float to other inpatient units/campus locations within competency.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with strong cardiac/high-risk telemetry experience.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management required.
• High-risk telemetry experience required.
• Epic experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
