Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehab to provide care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The RN will provide medication administration, patient assessments, IV care, respiratory support, and tracheostomy management while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients.
• Perform assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Manage peripheral IVs and provide IV therapy.
• Provide oxygen and non-invasive airway support.
• Perform and manage tracheostomy care; respiratory therapy available as needed.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to emergencies or rapid responses.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic.
• Float to inpatient Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience required.
• LTAC/SNF/Rehab experience accepted.
• BLS required.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and respiratory support.
• Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered with appropriate experience.
• Epic experience.
• Local candidates accepted.
