RN II – Medical/Surgical (AHMC)
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week

Position Overview
The RN II provides coordinated, high-quality nursing care to individual patients or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process.
The RN supervises and directs assigned nursing staff, coordinates care with other healthcare disciplines, and utilizes critical thinking, professional judgment, supervisory discretion, and independent decision-making to deliver safe and effective patient care.
This is a general acute-care Med/Surg unit caring for a mix of medical and surgical patients. The patient population is designed to maintain a balanced mix, with no more than 65% medical or 65% surgical patients.
Note: This position is represented by UFCW.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- BSN: Preferred
- Acute Care Facility Experience: Preferred
- EPIC Experience: Required
- Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) experience: Required
Licensure & Certifications
- Active RN License in the state of practice: Required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
