Job Requirements

• Active California RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• ONS/ONCC Certification required
• Strong oncology nursing experience
• Recent/active chemotherapy administration experience
• Several years of oncology experience with chemotherapy administration
• Experience with complex chemotherapy regimens such as Cisplatin, FOLFOX, and FOLFIRI
• Strong vascular access skills: peripheral IVs, port access, PICC/Hickman maintenance
• Strong pharmacology knowledge
• Ability to recognize and manage hypersensitivity reactions
• Strong knowledge of laboratory values and their relationship to oncology treatments
• Experience with titratable infusions and blood transfusions
• Experience with IVIG, Rituximab, Remicade, Darzalex, and Ocrevus preferred
• Infusion experience with hydration, iron, albumin, Zometa/Reclast, Prolia, antibiotics, injections, and blood products
• Ability to provide inpatient chemotherapy when floating is required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 12 months worked required at submission
• At least 1 reference must be from a Charge RN
• Willingness to work one weekend day every 4 weeks
• Willingness to float to inpatient units as needed
