Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedure, circulate in a sterile environment. Procedures include: left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs and cardioversions, venous ablations, peripheral vascular angiogramsEquipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)Pyxis, XIM(Philips monitoring system), Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, Acist contrast injection systemRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Minimum 2 years cath lab experience. Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. ACLS certified. Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)ACLS and BLS requiredBed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.8 fluoroscopy rooms, 2 procedural rooms, average of 30 patients per dayNurse to patient ratio of this unit.
