Description
Title- Registered Nurse Primary care
Location - Dayton Ohio
Duration- 12+ months
Shift- Days
Qualifications
✔ Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
✔ Current Ohio RN License
✔ Current BLS Certification
✔ Current CPR Certification from an AHA-approved vendor
✔ Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years
✔ Experience in ICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry/Cardiac Monitoring, or Emergency Room is applicable
✔ VA experience is preferred
Responsibilities
• Assess patients and develop appropriate nursing care plans
• Document patient care and treatment in medical records
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Monitor and reassess patient conditions
• Communicate pertinent patient information to physicians and nursing staff
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to emergencies
• Educate patients and families regarding medications and treatments
• Provide nursing care within the applicable scope of practice
