Clinical Social Worker – Behavioral Health Clinician

Main Responsibilities

• Behavioral health screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Individual, group, family, and marital therapy
• Crisis intervention and safety planning
• Care coordination and referrals
• Mental health and substance-use interventions
• Trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Shared rotating after-hours crisis coverage for Haines, Klawock, Petersburg, and Wrangell

Required / Preferred

Required:

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Ability to provide behavioral health assessment and treatment
• Alaska driver’s license, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• BLS (AHA) within 3 months
• SEARHC Clinical Competency Assessment

Preferred:

• LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
• Alaska Chemical Dependency Counselor I / MAC or equivalent
• Behavioral health assessment and diagnostic experience
