Description

Job Requirements – RN Med Surg/Telemetry

2+ years of RN experience
Recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Active RN license required
BLS – AHA
ACLS – AHA
NIHSS – AHA or APEX
Telemetry experience required – must be able to read, interpret, and sign off telemetry strips
Heparin drip experience
Comfortable caring for post-surgical and total joint patients
Experience with acute/chronic medical conditions, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, General Surgery, and potential stroke patients
Cerner experience preferred
Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend required – 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Travelers are first to float to Med Surg/Tele, ICU for Med Surg/Tele patients, ER for Med Surg/Tele holds, and potentially another nearby facility
No call, but standby may be required for low census; 30-minute response time if called in
Navy blue scrubs
