Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Active Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license required
• Compact license accepted
• RRT or CRT certification
• Epic experience preferred
• New graduates are not accepted

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional respiratory care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Deliver and manage respiratory therapy services based on patient needs and clinical standards.
• Assess patients and provide appropriate respiratory treatments and interventions.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
• Maintain professional clinical standards and follow hospital policies and procedures.

Orientation:

• KU/Facility orientation (NEO) is scheduled on the Monday and Tuesday of the starting week.
• 10/05/2026 is the scheduled orientation date for this assignment.

Additional Information

• Overtime: Billable after 40 hours/week for standard 36–40-hour schedules; billable after 48 hours for 48-hour schedules.
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with a 2-hour minimum.
• On-Call Rate: $9/hr.
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier.
