Internal Job Description
MS RN - Nights
NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE).
Contract Length: 13 weeks.
Start Date: ASAP.
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36.
Shift Requirements: 12hr Nights.
Float Requirements: within like units of MS scope, not routinely.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None.
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: every other weekend & every other holiday.
Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: IL RN License, AHA BLS and AHA ACLS.
Minimum Experience: 2 years within MS specialty.
Charting Experience Required: EPIC Required.
Required Skillset: general Med Surg skillset - more medical than post surgical cases.
Unit has swing beds which are extended stay for rehab.
There are no high acuity patients on drips.
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Union County is licensed for 25 beds...typically census max of 15-18 beds.
Nurse/patient ration is 1:5-6.
We have flexed up to 6 occasionally.
Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.
Scrub Colors: Navy Blue.
Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required - Subject to change.
GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.
Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
