Position Overview

The Rowley Family Birthing Center provides a specialized and family-centered environment for mothers and newborns. The Mother/Baby RN will provide compassionate postpartum care while supporting mothers and families during the transition following childbirth.

The birthing center is designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and private environment with a focus on quality care and an exceptional patient experience.

Unit & Facility Highlights

The Rowley Family Birthing Center occupies the entire sixth floor of a newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility and includes:

• 12 private Labor, Delivery & Recovery rooms
• 23 private Postpartum rooms
• Private triage rooms
• 2 operating rooms for Cesarean deliveries
• Private patient rooms with individual bathrooms and showers
• Sleeper sofas for birthing partners
• High-tech security system
• Room service
• Quiet, comfortable environment designed for rest and recovery

Newborn Care

The facility also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) providing advanced and specialized care for newborns who require additional medical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
• Monitor maternal and newborn status and communicate changes appropriately.
• Support families throughout the postpartum period.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, education, and positive patient experiences.
• Collaborate with the maternity care team and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide care in accordance with facility policies and established standards.

Interview & Submission Requirements

• Manager interviews are required for this facility.
• All RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included with the candidate's initial submission and profile.
