Description
Contract / Schedule
- Nights | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts
- Weekends scheduled based on unit needs
- Call not required, but available
Unit
- 7-bed LDRP
- 3rd Floor, Main Building
- Staffing: 2 RNs + 1 OB Surgical Tech
- Ratios follow AWHONN acuity staffing guidelines
- Epic
- GE / Centricity Perinatal
- Level II NICU – 32+ weeks / 1,500g+
- Royal blue scrubs provided
Requirements
- 1+ year L&D experience
- Labor triage experience
- OR circulating experience required – C-sections, tubal ligations, D&C, vaginal repairs, etc.
- Newborn resuscitation / attending low-risk deliveries
- BLS, ACLS, NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required
Typical Procedures / Experience
- Labor induction & vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- Labor triage & antepartum care
- Tubal ligations
- D&C and vaginal repairs
- NST
- IUFD
- Betamethasone/steroid injections
- External cephalic version
- IUPC/FSE placement preferred
- Experience assisting with JADA, Cook and Bakri placement preferred
Floating
- During low census, may float to work as a PCT as needed.
