Description

RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW) may be required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. The ideal candidate should be experienced and comfortable caring for both mother and baby throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum experience.

Unit Details

Family Birth Center with a Level II Nursery
Labor and postpartum care are provided within the same room/department
RN must be comfortable and competent with both Labor/Postpartum and Nursery care
Strong ability to care for both maternal and newborn patients is an important requirement

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
Experience with both mother and baby care
Comfort with labor, postpartum, and nursery responsibilities
BLS required
ACLS required
NRP required

Schedule

3 × 12-hour shifts
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend may be required
13-week assignment
