MS/Tele Float RN Job Description

Location: Olympia, WA
Start Date: October 20, 2026 / ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts; block scheduling unavailable
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Unit: MS/Tele Float Pool
Patient Ratios: 1:4 to 1:6, based on unit acuity
Charting: Epic
Experience: Minimum 2 years required; U.S. hospital experience required
Charge Experience: Required
Float Requirement: Yes. May float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, ER boarding, and other units based on hospital need.
Potential Charge Duties: May support staffing, bed flow, and general coordination on small units.
48-Hour Schedules: Must be approved by the manager before offering.

Required Skills

Med/Surg and Telemetry experience
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
Charge nurse experience

Certifications

BLS required
ACLS and NIHSS preferred
