Description

• Location: Cookeville, TN
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 5x8s (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
• Experience: 2+ years Cath Lab experience
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Call: Required — 1 day/week + every 4th Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• Weekend: Only when on call
• Float: No
• Charting: Paragon
• Certifications/Licensure: RCIS, ARRT/Radiologic Technologist, or CST; TN or Compact license required
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or Surgical Technology program
• Skills: Scrub, circulator, recording technician; sterile surgical technique required
• Equipment: Mac Lab experience required
• EP Lab: Rad Techs working in EP must obtain RCES within 2 years of hire
• Local Candidates: Not accepted; must live outside 50 miles
• Pending License: Not accepted
• RTO: Required at submission
• References: Can be pending at submission
• COVID Vaccine: Not required

Many travelers; regular staff very helpful; busy ER with EMS coming from multiple counties; 4:1 with dedicated charge, flow coordinator, and float staff. ED is split into in 3 sections, each with tech and secretary. responsive Security. Designated psych nurses/sitters and transportation techs for radiology and admissions.
