RN Emergency Room

Overview

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 18:45 - 07:15
Hours: 36 weekly hours
Schedule: Every other weekend rotation
Holiday requirement: Per department need

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment
Ascension Resume
Ascension Profile
At least two professional references
Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start; updated annually for specialty

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

Ascension Color Vision completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start; updated every 3 years
TNCC renewed every 4 years
NIH Certification updated yearly for Group A or every 2 years for Group B-F
Ascension CPI must be an 8-hour course; updated every 2 years
Ascension EKG Exam with passing score of at least 80%; updated every 3 years
