LVN/LPN – Medical Surgical – Methodist University Hospital

• Location: Memphis, TN
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 4x12s (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week; 36 hours may be approved
• Experience: 2+ years recent Med/Surg experience required
• First-Time Travelers: No, unless 3+ years recent experience
• Travel Experience: Required
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• IV Certification: Firm requirement
• Specialty: Med/Surg, MS/Tele
• Trauma: Level I Trauma experience required
• Hospital Experience: Large hospital experience required
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:7 with team nursing support
• Patient Population: Adults
• Float: Required between like units/campuses as needed
• Weekend: Every other weekend / as needed
• Call: As needed
• Block Schedule: No; weekend block may be considered

Charting: Epic preferred
• Local Candidates: Must live at least 100 miles from the facility — strict
• License: No pending license; must meet NLC requirements
• RTO: All RTO must be included at submission; no additions after offer
• Driver’s License: Copy required at submission
• COVID Vaccine: Not required
• Flu Vaccine: Required, no exemptions
• Holiday: Must work required holidays; if Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s all fall during assignment, must work 2 of 3
• Rehire: Prior facility staff/travelers must meet waiting-period requirements
• Facility: Short-Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
