Description
Shift: Rotating Days/Evenings — 5x8s, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM / 2:30 PM–10:30 PM
• Shift Rotation: Required
• Experience: 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required
• Travel Experience: Required
• Cardiac Scrub: Required
• Certification: BLS required
• License: Active Michigan license required at submission; Compact licenses not accepted
• Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics
• Cases: CABG, AVR, MVR, LVAD/RVAD, ECMO, heart transplant, MAZE, Impella, aortic aneurysm repair
• Thoracic: VATS/open lobectomy, wedge resection, esophagectomy, lung transplant, bronchoscopy and thoracic procedures
• Vascular: AAA, EVAR, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistulas, fem-distal/fem-fem bypass, SMA bypass
• Equipment/System: Censitrac required; SPD instrument tracking
• Float: Required
• Call: Required — 2–4 weeknight shifts + 1–2 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Call Length: No call shift longer than 12 hours
• Ratio: 1:1
• Rooms: 10
• RTO: Upfront; no RTO during first week
• References: 2 manager/supervisor references; charge nurse references not accepted
• Flu Vaccine: Required — no exemptions
• COVID Vaccine: Not required
• Local Candidates: Accepted at travel rate
