McLaren Northern has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population.  Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately.  Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor.  This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.

McLaren Northern Michigan is recruiting an OB/Gyn to join the team in Petosky, Michigan.  Join a collegial team of experienced providers that have been established in the community for many years.  You can expect a steady flow of new patients from a large primary service area.
 

Submission Requirements

• 3+ Years of OBGYN Experience - [REQUIRED]
• Experienced with L&D - [REQUIRED]
• Comfortable with Couplet Care and Stabilization - [REQUIRED]
• Pediatrics - [PREFERRED]
• Travel Experience - [PREFERRED]
• ACLS - [PREFERRED]

Certification Requirements

• BLS (AHA)
• NRP
• STABLE

State License Requirements

• Michigan

• Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40/hr
• OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
• Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
• McLaren's local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%.  Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
