**Active New York State license in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.**
Job Title: Mental Health Clinician
Location: NYCHH - Rikers Island, 1500 Hazen Street, East Elmhurst, NY 11370
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8, Day - 8:00 AM-4:00 PM OR Evening - 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Start Date - 10/12/2026
Education and Licensure Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active New York State license in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
Required Skills:
- Experience conducting assessments and providing treatment to adults with behavioral issues, substance use histories, and severe mental illness.
- Candidates with inpatient or related experience are strongly preferred.
