🔥 EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT (ER) RN CONTRACT – MASSACHUSETTS EYE AND EAR (MASS GENERAL BRIGHAM)

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) in the heart of downtown Boston, Massachusetts. Operating within the specialized Emergency Department at Massachusetts Eye and Ear (MEE)—a world-renowned Harvard Medical School teaching hospital and member of the Mass General Brigham system located right on Charles Street—this position features a 36-hour weekly schedule (3x12 shifts). NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! MEE houses New England's premier 24/7 emergency department dedicated to ophthalmic, otolaryngologic (ENT), and head/neck emergencies. 📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: 3x12-Hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed weekly; exact day/night rotation or fixed shift confirmed at interview).
Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!
Facility & Department: Massachusetts Eye and Ear (MEE) / Nursing Emergency Dept (ME0540) (SO00006584) located at 243 Charles Street.
Clinical Scope & Patient Care: Rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and nursing care for acute patients presenting with emergent conditions of the eye, ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
Core Nursing Responsibilities:
- Triage, continuous monitoring, and vital signs stabilization for high-acuity adult and pediatric presentations.
- Precise medication administration, intravenous therapy, and monitoring for therapeutic response or adverse reactions.
- Direct collaborative intervention with attending ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists, and trauma surgical teams.
- Comprehensive EMR documentation, patient advocacy, procedural sedation assistance, and specialized post-intervention discharge education.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 1 year of dedicated acute care Emergency Room (ER) clinical nursing experience.
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure: Active Massachusetts RN License strictly required in hand at submittal.
Certifications Required (Must have all three active):
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Compliance & Onboarding Requirements:
- Mass General Brigham (MGB) Candidate Submission Coversheet & Beeline Attestation.
- MGB Skills Checklist.
- Massachusetts CORI background clearance, 10-panel/12-panel drug screen, and hospital immunization records (fit test, MMR, TB clearance, flu).
