Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This role covers a broad mix of surgical cases with a dedicated 1:1 patient ratio.

Key Responsibilities & Patient Care

Patient Ratio: 1:1
Case Mix: General, Orthopedic, and Neurological surgeries. Excludes Transplants (handled separately by dedicated CVOR and Trauma teams).
Scrubbing: Not required for RNs.
Floating: No floating required.
Documentation: Cerner EMR.

Schedule & On-Call Requirements

Shift: 12-Hour Days.
Schedule Pattern: Monday through Friday shifts (combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts) with Every Other Weekend (EOW) rotation.
On-Call: 3 weekday evening/night shifts and 3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule block.
Call Response Time: Must be within 30 minutes.
Holidays: Rotation aligned with core staff requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Required Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
