On-Call: Required – typically 1 night per week

Job Summary:

Coquille Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a rural/community hospital setting. The technologist will perform both CT and general diagnostic X-Ray procedures, provide high-quality patient care, and work independently across a variety of imaging needs.
 

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and general diagnostic X-Ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Provide safe, accurate, and efficient imaging services in a Critical Access Hospital environment.
• Operate CT, X-Ray, portable X-Ray, and C-Arm equipment.
• Maintain proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort throughout procedures.
• Adapt to varying imaging needs and prioritize workflow effectively.
• Work independently while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow department policies and safety standards.
• Demonstrate strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Participate in the department's on-call rotation, typically one night per week.

Equipment:

• Siemens 64-Slice CT Scanner
• Siemens Portable X-Ray Equipment
• Siemens General X-Ray Room
• Siemens C-Arm Equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience performing both CT and diagnostic X-Ray procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a rural/community hospital or Critical Access Hospital setting.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple imaging needs and changing priorities.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Comfortable participating in required on-call coverage.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience operating Siemens imaging equipment preferred.
• Previous experience in a rural or community hospital environment preferred.
