RN - Med/Surg (Adult) - Night Shift

Overview

• Contract RN role in a general Med/Surg unit.
• Night shift: 7pm–7am, three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
• Mainly adults with occasional pediatrics.
• Not a pediatric floor; do not submit Pedi-only RNs.

Unit / Setting

• General Med/Surg unit providing medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care.
• 25-bed critical access hospital.
• Rural setting in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license in Vermont.
• 3 years of Med Surg experience.
• Med Surg experience within the last year.
• Experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS.
• Flu shot required, no exceptions.

Preferred

• Meditech experience.

Housing / Transportation

• Local housing resources are available, but housing is the traveler’s responsibility.
• Reliable personal transportation is essential; public transportation and rideshare are not available.
